Biography of Behiç Günalan

He was born to İstanbul in 1952. He finished University of Istanbul, Department of Literature. He was starting to journalism in 1973. He lived Istanbul, Erzurum, Bursa and Edirne. He already has got yellow journalist card.

When he was starting to journalism; then he started to interest photography. First he started with news photography; after a few times he goes to art photography. He lives in Edirne since 1989. Most inspiring things for him; naturel, culturel and historical riches of Edirne City. He started to exhibition in 1995 and named "Fotoğraflar Yaşlanmaz". Last exhibition of him naming "Edirne-Brucke zum Orient" in Lörrach City-Germany in this year.

He was starting to digital photography for last three years; before than; he worked usually with dia. He shared photos with some public dia-show. Many publications used to him photos. Most Behiç Günalan photographs published to important and respectable catalogs. He has got many reward and prizes of some National Photographical Awards, including championship.

He gives to photography lessons for University of Thrace; Radio-TV, Serigraphy and Graphic program students. At the same time; he is working in the Photography Art Center of Edirne and teaching photography for him students.

He is already member of many civil social organizations. He is honorary president to Journalists of Edirne and Photography Art Center of Edirne.
